When talk of the Giants' head coach search finally ceased on Tuesday morning, Jerry Recco got down to the business of updating the masses.

Jerry started by recapping Alabama's 45-40 win over Clemson in the national championship game on Monday night. The victory gave Crimson Tide coach Saban his fifth national title overall and fourth in the last seven years at Alabama.

Jerry then bounced around the pro leagues, including breaking down the three-game suspension handed down to Bengals linebacker Vontaze Burfict, recapping the Nets' loss to the Spurs in interim head coach Tony Brown's head coaching debut, explaining how Joe Girardi has named newcomer Aroldis Chapman the Yankees' closer in 2016.
