Boomer & Carton: Craig Gives Boom An Amazin' Birthday Present
Recently, Boomer had been calling for the Mets to build a statue of Tom Seaver outside Citi Field to honor the greatest Mets player of all time.
Meanwhile, Craig decided to give the Mets an idea for their sculpture and a great birthday present to Boomer. Working with sculptor Marc Mellon, Craig presented Boomer with a beautiful bronze Tom Seaver.
