Joe Torre had his No. 6 retired by the Yankees over the weekend at Yankee Stadium, which got Al Dukes thinking about the single-digit numbers, and how there aren't many remaining for future Bombers.

In fact, when Derek Jeter hangs 'em up and his No. 2 is retired by the club, there won't be any single-digit numbers left, which was news to Al.
