Boomer & Carton: CBS Lands Thursday Night Football — And Look Who's Streaking Again
Craig took his sons to the transformed Madison Square Garden on Wednesday night to see the Knicks take on the Blazers and had his night hampered by an announcement honoring the late Philip Seymour Hoffman.
Hoffman was found dead Sunday of an apparent heroin overdose, which left Craig to wonder why exactly he was being honored? Boomer too was at a loss.
Anyway, on the court the Knickerbockers fell to the Blazers 94-90, bringing their latest losing streak to three games. Over their last 17 games the Knicks have had a five-game winning streak, followed by a five-game losing streak, proceeded by four straight victories and now this current three-game slide.
What does that all mean, you ask? Do the math -- they stink!
There is some good news though, as we get word that CBS is in the Thursday Night Football business. And that's a good thing...
