On the heels of a 9-4 loss to Red Sox Tuesday night in the Bronx, smart money says the Yankees aren't making the playoffs.  The writing has actually been on the wall for a while now, which is not usually the case for the Bombers.

With that said, when history looks back on this season, it will be remembered not for the Yanks' futility, but rather the final go-round for Derek Jeter, who will retire at season's end. And the Yankees, along with Steiner Sports, are looking to monetize on the occasion.

Boomer and Craig got the ball rolling this morning discussing Jeter's profitable farewell, which Boomer called 'a little much,' as well as the 'open season' on Eli Manning as the Giants quarterback remains on the chopping block as the Giants prepare to open their 2014 campaign Monday night in Detroit.
