Boomer & Carton: Blueshirts Lose A Thriller; Baseball Says Goodbye To Zimmer

Win or lose, there was little doubt that Boomer and Craigie would open today's radio program talking about the NHL Stanley Cup Final.  Unfortunately for the Booms, his beloved Blueshirts came up short against the Kings in LA, dropping Game 1, 3-2 in OT.

So what now?

Well Boomer is confident the Rangers will rebound Saturday night and come back home to the Garden with things knotted-up at a game apiece, while Craig reminds us that both teams get paid.

On a sad note, baseball lifer Don Zimmer passed away Wednesday at the age of 83.  Boomer and Craig talked about Zimmer's impressive baseball resume while touting him as a 'man's man' who was respected by everyone.

Zim will certainly be missed...
