Boomer's beloved Rangers took one on the chin in Brooklyn on Thursday night, falling to the Islanders, 3-1.
The Blonde Bomber was there to see it first-hand and it didn't make him very happy, so Craig allowed him to get a few things off his chest Friday morning in the hope that the show wouldn't go off the rails.
Eventually, things got back to normal and the topic switched to the Giants and their new head coach, Ben McAdoo. Word is Mike Sullivan will be elevated from quarterback's coach to offensive coordinator and Joe Philbin will be brought in to coach the quarterbacks and serve as assistant head coach.
All of that begs the question: who will be calling the plays on offense? Inquiring minds want to know, including Boomer & Carton.
In addition, the guys discussed Tom Coughlin's future, after he removed his name from the Eagles coaching search, and chimed in on Mets third baseman David Wright giving his general manager, Sandy Alderson, a vote of confidence.
That didn't sit too well with Carton.
It's a Football Friday, by the way, so start acting like it.
