With the floundering Jets (1-8) getting set to welcome red-hot Ben Roethlisberger and the Pittsburgh Steelers to town this Sunday, Al Dukes' creative juices got flowing. And he wrote what could be an instant parody classic that he is calling "500 Yards," which included back-up vocals courtesy of Jerry "My Mistake I Apologize" Recco and "The" Eddie Scozzare.

Al took today's performance to the next level -- if you will -- and performed while wearing a pair of black reading glasses, paying tribute to the artists who made today's parody effort possible in the first place, The Proclaimers.

Advice to all Jets fans before listening: sometimes ya gotta laugh to keep from crying.

So go ahead, enjoy Al's effort. And of course, "Tell your friends, tell your friends!"
