With Jerry Recco too sick to perform his duties, Al Dukes was pressed into action, saddled with the responsibility of filling in for the ailing update maven.

Al got his update effort underway with a thorough recap of the Knicks' 102-91 loss to the Heat, a defeat that all but puts an end to their late-season push to make playoffs.

The Yankees get a win north of the border, downing the Blue Jays 6-4 and now the Bombers prepare for their home opener (Jeter's last home opener) against the Orioles in the Bronx.  The Mets fell to the Reds 2-1 despite filling Citi Field's Pepsi Porch with a bunch of dogs for the highly anticipated 'Bark at the Park.'

Plus, might free-agent running back Chris Johnson choose to sign with the Jets? More fallout from DeSean Jackson's departure from Philadelphia, and finally after another entertaining edition of March Madness, UConn and Kentucky will battle it out tonight in Texas for the coveted national championship
