What more can be said about these Amazin' Mets?

With a record of 13-3, they are currently the best team in baseball!

Winners of 11 in a row after Thursday afternoon's 6-3 win over the Braves -- which saw 41- year-old Bartolo Colon improve to 4-0, by the way -- Terry Collins' bunch have yet to lose a game in what could be described these days as the comfy confines of Citi Field, going 10-0 in Flushing to start the season.

So with 54-year-old Boomer up in Canada trying to recapture his youth by strapping on some skates, Craig was joined by another blonde-headed left-hander, Mr. Chris Simms, and together they got things rolling on this Friday edition of the Morning Extravaganza by discussing those aforementioned Mets, as well as their AL counterpart, the New York Yankees, who have won seven of their last 10 after a 2-1 win in Detroit, good for a share of first place in the AL East.

All of that sets the stage for what should be a spectacle of a three-game Subway Series this weekend in the Bronx, which gets underway tonight with Jacob deGrom and Michael Pineda scheduled to square off.

In addition to the baseball, tonight's TV lineup also includes Penguins-Rangers Game 5, the NBA playoffs and Diane Sawyer's highly anticipated interview with Bruce Jenner, as the Olympic gold medalist is expected to discuss his transition to womanhood.

A lot goin' on.

You know the drill: it's a Friday, now start acting like it (if you aren't already). Do it!
