What more can you say about the Rangers?!  Boomer's Blueshirts did their thing Wednesday night on Broadway at the expense of Alexander Ovechkin and the Washington Capitals. By "their thing" I'm referring to their uncanny ability to win Game 7s at MSG, by the way.  After last night's 2-1 OT win, the Rangers improved to 7-0 in such games.

So it was hockey at the start as Boomer's passion would not be denied -- and even Craig found himself wrapped up in the Rangers buzz.

To the baseball:

Same old story for the Mets, as their inability to score runs continues to be a problem.  Last night in Chicago the Cubs were stymied by Matt Harvey for seven innings, but prevailed with a 2-1 win after Jeurys Familia walked in the game-deciding run.  The Yanks failed to capitalize on some early run production for the second straight game and fell to the Rays 3-2 in Tampa.

We also got to hear all about Boomer's day rubbing elbows with some of his CBS colleagues, including Jerry Rice, whom the Blonde Bomber confronted with regards to the Hall of Famer's recent confession that he used Stickum when playing for the 49ers.
