Bono Hurts Arm In Central Park, Postpones U2's Week-Long Stint On Tonight Show

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork/AP) – It doesn't look like Bono had a "Beautiful Day," Sunday.

U2 will have to postpone their week-long stint on Tonight Show after the front man hurt his arm in Central Park, the band's website reads.

"Bono has injured his arm in a cycling spill in Central Park and requires some surgery to repair it," a note on the website from Edge, Adam and Larry said.

The band says they are sure he will make a full recovery soon.

Bono had another stroke of bad luck after his private plane lost a hatch as it was coming in for a landing in the Berlin, but the singer was never in danger.

Hope it wasn't a "Blood Sunday" for Bono and wish him a speedy recovery.
