Clerk Found Shot To Death Behind Counter Inside Queens Bodega

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A bodega clerk was found shot to death in Queens on Saturday morning.

Police responding to a 911 call found Nassirou Diallo, 46, dead behind the counter at the Sunshine Deli on Merrick Boulevard.

A source told the New York Post that the cash register was empty when police arrived.

Two suspects, both male, were seen fleeing the store following the shooting, the Post reported. One suspect wore a red hoodie, while the other wore blue jeans and a gray shirt.
