Bobby Ojeda Reportedly Out At SNY; Seinfeld 'Insanely Furious'

The television home of the Mets is suddenly in the market for a new studio analyst after failing to reach an agreement with Bobby Ojeda, according to multiple reports. And one well-known fan isn't taking the news very well.
Comedic legend, Mets die-hard and occasional WFAN caller Jerry Seinfeld -- aka Jerry from Queens -- wrote on Twitter that he was "insanely furious," punctuated by a whopping nine exclamation points.

Ojeda, a member of the 1986 championship team, was known for pulling no punches during the Mets' pre- and postgame shows. His departure after six years on SNY was "amicable," according to the New York Post. Ojeda was pushing for a raise and the sides couldn't come to terms, the newspaper reported.
Former Mets pitcher Nelson Figueroa "is the lead candidate" to fill Ojeda's slot with ex-Amazin's Cliff Floyd and Marlon Anderson also in the mix, the Post reported.
