Blue Bell Creameries Recalls Cookie Dough Ice Cream Over Listeria Concerns

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Ice cream maker Blue Bell Creameries is recalling all of its products that contain cookie dough over fears it could be contaminated with listeria.

According to the company, affected products include Blue Bell Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough and Blue Bell Cookie Two Step, Blue Bell Blue Monster, Blue Bell Chocolate Chip Cookie and Blue Bell Krazy Kookie Dough. The company says the products were made between February 2, 2016 and September 7, 2016.

The dough was supplied by an Iowa company, CBS2 reported.

No illnesses have been reported.

This newest recall comes after ice cream company Turkey Hill recalled batches of their Dutch Chocolate Premium Ice Cream that contained Rocky Road Premium Ice Cream earlier this week.

Nestle also issued a voluntary recall of their Drumstick clubs on Monday, following listeria concerns.

A listeria outbreak last year forced the Texas-based company to temporarily shut down all production.
