Video Shows Black Bear In Residential Area In New City

NEW CITY, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- Police in Rockland County are warning residents after a bear was spotted walking through a neighborhood.

Video posted online by the Clarkstown Police Department shows a black bear walking through a residential area near Woodland and Little Tor Road in New City around 2 p.m. Friday.

Homeowners along Phillips Hill Road also contacted police to say they spotted the bear in their yards.
