7 People Hurt When Fire Sweeps Through Home, Garages In Bensonhurst, Brooklyn
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Six firefighters and one civilian were hurt in a 3-alarm fire that swept through a multi-family home and several garages in Brooklyn.
Firefighters were called to 61st Street in Bensonhurst around 3:30 p.m. Friday.
Chopper 2 was over the scene as several firefighters entered the house through the roof and others doused the flames from outside the home.
Officials said the victims all suffered minor injuries.

Officials said the cause of the fire was determined to be the accidental ignition of fuel vapors.
