Belmont Stakes Tickets Go On Sale Thursday

ELMONT, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- Horse racing fans can now buy tickets to the Belmont Stakes.

The three-day event kicks off on June 3, with the Run for the Carnations happening June 5.

Capacity at New York's outdoor sports venues will increase to 33% capacity before the race, allowing Belmont Park to host about 11,000 spectators.

The race is the final leg of the triple crown. The next race, the Preakness, is on May 15.
