Bear Cub Killed In Collision With Motorcycle On New Jersey Road, Police Say

JEFFERSON TOWNSHIP, N.J. (CBSNewYork/AP) -- A motorcyclist was injured after hitting and killing a bear cub in New Jersey.

Jefferson Township police say Sean McBride, 21, of Hamburg was driving his motorcycle on Route 15 when he struck the cub on Wednesday evening.

Police told The Record of Parsippany McBride was transported to Morristown Medical Center where he was treated for moderate injuries.

The cub died.
