Boat Runs Aground In Rockaways

Chopper 2 captured the beached boat and its captain around 3:15 p.m. near Beach 47th Street in the Edgemere section of the Rockaways.
The boat – Seas the Day – is based out of Long Island. The man was seen walking around with a life vest and talking with authorities.
There were no injuries.
A private salvage company is being hired to remove the boat.
