Man Shot To Death On Basketball Court At East Harlem Playground

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are investigating a deadly shooting on a basketball court in East Harlem.

Officers responded to a 911 call shortly before 11:15 p.m. Monday at Poor Richard's Playground near East 107th Street and Third Avenue.

Police found a 29-year-old man lying on the basketball court with a gunshot wound to his torso.

He was rushed to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The victim's name has not been released, and no arrests have been made.
