Report: Bartolo Colon Files To Trademark 'Big Sexy' Nickname
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Bartolo Colon wants to make his "Big Sexy" moniker official.
The hefty 42-year-old Mets pitcher has applied for a trademark for the name "Big Sexy" with plans of using it for an athletic apparel line, ESPN's Darren Rovell reported Wednesday.
Bartolo Colon has filed for the trademark to "BIG SEXY," with intent to use it on shirts, pants & hats.

The "Big Sexy" nickname has previously been used by former Knick Kurt Thomas and WCW and WWE wrestler Kevin Nash.

The nickname got a boost in December when teammate Noah Syndergaard posted a Christmas photo of his family wearing "Big Sexy" T-shirts.
