Bartolo Colon Selected To Replace Bumgarner On NL All-Star Team

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Mets pitcher Bartolo Colon has been added to the National League All-Star team.

Mets and NL manager Terry Collins selected Colon to replace the Giants' Madison Bumgarner, who is scheduled to pitch Sunday, on the team. The All-Star Game is Tuesday in San Diego.

Colon, 43, is 7-4 this season with a 3.28 ERA. The former Cy Young winner will be appearing in his fourth Midsummer Classic. He also was an All-Star in 1998, 2005 and 2013.

Colon will join fellow Mets Yoenis Cespedes, Noah Syndergaard and Jeurys Familia on the All-Star team.
