Bail Set At $100K For State Narcotics Agent Accused In UWS Shooting

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Bail was set at $100,000 for a New York State narcotics agent accused in a double shooting on an Upper West Side street.

Cell phone video shows police surrounding 49-year-old Victor Zambrano and taking him into custody Friday night, CBS 2 reported.

Zambrano is charged with criminal possession of a weapon, assault, reckless endangerment, and resisting arrest.

Police allege he was scuffling with a man over a gun at Amsterdam Avenue and 82nd Street when the gun went off and struck a woman in the foot.

Her boyfriend gave chase and was then shot in the leg.

Zambrano was off-duty at the time of the incident.
