Badge Wearing Police Impersonator Frisked, Robbed Man In Elmhurst

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are looking for a man who has been posing as a police officer.

He allegedly robbed a 60-year-old man in Elmhurst on Tuesday.

Police said the man pretended to be an officer, and wore a fake badge around his neck.

He frisked the man and then stole the cash from his pocket.

Police said he had an accomplice who acted as a lookout.
