Expert Offers Tips For Back-To-School Buys To Help Little Ones At Home

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A lot of students in our area actually are heading back to school this week. But there's a lot you can do outside the classroom to make sure those kids are getting a good education.

Barbara Peacock, the managing director of School Zone Publishing, stopped by the CBS2 studios to discuss educational resources available for little ones.

"Really it's to make sure their children have materials that they like to do. You want something that children really enjoy doing so they feel comfortable doing the exercises that they're going to be doing in the classroom," Peacock told CBS2's Andrea Grymes.
