8/18 Tuesday Afternoon CBS2 Weather Headlines

by Justin Lewis, CBS2 meteorologist

It's going to be hot and humid today with feels like temps in the low 90s. And there could be a shower/storm here or there, but much of the area will stay quiet.

We'll again leave in a slight chance of a shower or storm into tonight. Otherwise, expect partly cloudy skies and muggy conditions with temps bottoming out in the mid 70s by daybreak.

While temps will be down slightly tomorrow, the humidity will be up once again. Isolated storms will be back in the mix, as well, but mainly to the west. Highs will be in the mid 80s.

The trend will continue into Thursday: still running a slight chance of storms with muggy conditions in place.

And as of now, Thursday night into Friday looks like our wettest period.
