At Least 19 Injured In Bronx Fire

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Several people were injured in a Bronx building fire on Sunday afternoon.

At least 19 people suffered minor injuries in the two-alarm blaze on Prospect Avenue. Three firefighters and at least two children were among the injured, officials said.

Firefighters were dispatched at around 12:30 p.m. after the blaze started on the second floor of the six-story building.

All of the patients were taken to Lincoln Hospital.

On Saturday, two people were killed in separate fires just blocks apart in the Bronx.
