Sources: 4 People, Including Child, Shot Dead In Apparent Murder-Suicide In Astoria

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Dozens of NYPD officers swarmed an apartment building in Queens Monday night after police sources say four people, including a child, were shot and killed in an apparent murder-suicide. 

Police say an approximately five-year-old boy, a man, and two women were found shot dead inside an apartment at 30th Drive and 23rd Street in Astoria after gunfire erupted around 8:30 p.m. The circumstances surrounding the shooting were under investigation, but sources tell CBS2 it appeared to be a murder-suicide.

A gun was recovered inside the gruesome scene, and sources tell CBS2 cops were not looking for any suspects following the deadly violence.
