The suspect allegedly shoved the guard and snatched a bag containing $200,000.

The guard gave chase, tackling the suspect multiple times.

"I see two guys fighting in the street," one witness told CBS2's Nick Caloway. "He take the bag and he run this way."

Another surveillance camera down the block shows the man running off down Gerard Avenue. He is seen carrying a heavy white bag.

The suspect is described as 5-foot-8, 160 pounds and last seen wearing a navy blue hooded sweatshirt, gray sweatpants and black mask.

CBS2 wanted to ask police if this could have been an inside job or if they think the schedule of money transfers was being watched by the thief, but the NYPD didn't take questions.

An executive at Spring Bank confirmed the armored car delivery was for the bank, and said spring bank is cooperating with police on the investigation, but had no further comment.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477), or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782). You can also submit a tip via their website or on Twitter, @NYPDTips. All calls are kept confidential.
