NYPD: Suspects Sought In Series Of Armed Laundromat Robberies In Queens

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are looking for two men in connection to a series of armed robberies at a laundromat in Queens.

The suspects first struck on Sept. 28, pulling a silver handgun on a 49-year-old woman at Laundry Land on Beach Channel Drive in Far Rockaway at around midnight, police said. The suspect took $320 from the woman before fleeing the scene.

One suspect struck Laundry Land again on Sept. 3, pulling a silver handgun on a 53-year-old man at around 3 a.m., police said. The suspect forcibly took $200 from the victim before leaving the scene.

The first suspect is described by police as being around 6 ft. tall and weighing 220 pounds. He was last seen wearing a gray t-shirt and shorts, with a black belt and white sneakers.

The second suspect was last seen wearing a red hooded sweatshirt, black pants and a black face mask, police say.
