Amtrak Bans Samsung Galaxy Note 7 Cellphones

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Amtrak has banned the use of Samsung Galaxy Note 7 cellphones.

Customers can no longer use them on Amtrak trains, thruway buses, stations or its platforms.

The phone also cannot be carried inside a vehicle on its auto train.

The phones have been recalled and linked to dozens of fires.

The phones have also been banned from U.S. flights.
