9/30 CBS2 Friday Afternoon Weather Headlines

It's a damp, blustery day around the Tri-State as we hang on to this unsettled pattern. It won't be raining everywhere the entire day, but periods of rain will continue to move through, so have that umbrella handy! Temps won't climb much, only topping out in the upper 50s and low 60s. Winds may gust to 40 mph at times, mainly along the coast.

We'll fall into the 50s once again overnight with scattered showers continuing. Unfortunately, the rain chance lingers right through the weekend. It won't be a washout, but the clouds will hang on and showers will be on/off. Temps will reach the mid 60s tomorrow and upper 60s by Sunday.

It looks like we'll finally see some clearing as we head into late Sunday and early Monday, with only a leftover chance to start the work week. We do need the rain though... our deficit for the year in Central Park is right around 8 inches!
