9/3 CBS2 Saturday Evening Weather Headlines
By Mark McIntyre, CBS2 Meteorologist/Weather Producer
Let's get right to it... Hermine is churning offshore and will start to impact our area tomorrow. Tonight, just expect clouds and mild, breezy conditions with lows in the mid 60s.
Tomorrow will be a different story. Expect winds to ramp up through the day with gusts topping 40 mph along the coasts, and rain to become more likely in the afternoon. Things will get much worse heading through the later part of the day as Hermine gets closer. A Tropical Storm Warning is in effect for all coastal locales until further notice due to the expected strong wind, high surf, and flooding concerns.
Labor Day looks like a soggy & windy holiday at this point, as Hermine will be stalled offshore and still bringing rain, wind, and surge. Keep it tuned for the latest and stay safe!
