9/20 Sunday Afternoon CBS2 Weather Headlines

Good Afternoon!

Compared to how we started the day, skies are clearing out nicely. Expect mostly sunny skies for the rest of today with highs in the mid and upper 70s. Humidity levels are much lower thanks to the cold front and that dry, cooler air is ushering in from the north.

Mostly clear overnight with a cool low of 57 in the city. For some of the NW suburbs, it'll be downright chilly with lows dropping into the 40s! So keep in mind you'll likely want a jacket to start off your Monday morning.

Tomorrow will see a mix of sun & clouds with a cooler high of 73 in NYC. As of now it looks like Tuesday will see more clouds, but will remain dry for most. There is a slight chance of some showers late Monday night into Tuesday, with the best bet along the coast.

Fall arrives at 4:22 AM Wednesday morning and it'll roll in with a mild touch. Many locations will likely hit the 80 degree mark. Going with 79 for the city. And for an early look at what to expect for the Papal visit, it continues to look dry as the moisture stays to our south.
