9/17 CBS2 Saturday Evening Weather Headlines

By Mark McIntyre

What a day it was! Tons o' sun, mild temps, and no humidity made for a gorgeous Saturday afternoon. We will get more clouds arriving tonight ahead of a storm system, and it won't be quite as cool overnight compared to last night...expect a low of 68 in NYC.

Tomorrow's gonna be a much cloudier day, and it will be noticeably muggier too. A surge of moisture from the south and also from the remnants of Julia will combine to provide a chance for scattered showers tomorrow afternoon, but the day doesn't look like a washout...so the Giants game at MetLife Stadium looks OK for now.

Tomorrow night is when we should see the steadiest rain move in, and it looks like it could make for a soggy Monday morning commute. The silver lining is that we could get a good soaking and help eat away at the huge deficit...so just keep the umbrella handy.

Have a great night!
