9/17 CBS2 Saturday Afternoon Weather

By Mark McIntyre
CBS2 Meteorologist/Weather Producer

Hey folks! We've got a pretty nice day in the works with mostly sunny skies, comfortable temps in the upper 70s, and very low humidity. It'll be a great day to get outdoors, soak up some late summer sun, and enjoy the weekend!

We'll get a change of pace tonight as clouds move in ahead of a frontal system. It won't be quite as cool as it was this morning, temps only drop to the upper 60s around town. There's also the slightest chance of a shower, but most spots will be dry.

Sunday will be a mainly cloudy day and there could be some showers moving in during the afternoon. As of now the Giants game at MetLife Stadium looks OK at 1PM, but a shower threat looms. Heavier rain will move in tomorrow night into Monday morning...but we do need the rain.

Check back soon for the latest on the changing forecast!
