90-year-old woman killed when fire breaks out in the Bronx

90-year-old woman killed in Bronx fire

NEW YORK -- A 90-year-old woman was killed when a fire broke out Wednesday night in the Bronx. 

Firefighters responded around 10 p.m. to a building on Perry Avenue in the Norwood section. 

FDNY officials said the victim lived on the second floor. No other injuries were reported. 

There's no word on what caused the fire.
