8/8 CBS2 Saturday Evening Weather

By Mark McIntyre, CBS2 Meteorologist/Weather Producer

Hey everybody! Wasn't a bad day overall, although a storm system off the Mid-Atlantic did send some high clouds our way. Despite that we stayed dry and had nice temps. Expect another mild night with partly cloudy skies and temperatures bottoming out in the upper 60s around NYC, and closer to 60 in the 'burbs.

It'll be another very nice day tomorrow with sunshine & a few clouds and dry conditions for most. Slight chance for a stray PM pop-up but those would be far north/west of the City. Temps will be similar to today with highs in the low 80s. Beach & mountain getaways look good, even though it won't be a pristine blue sky, the UV index will be high with burn times of 15-25 minutes.

The winning weather looks to end Monday with humidity & rain returning. A few morning showers will be followed by a storm chance developing later in the day as a front approaches. Some storms Monday night into Tuesday, could be heavy at times...we'll monitor that as we get new info.

Check back soon for the latest and have a great night!
