8/30 Sunday Morning Weather Headlines

By Mark McIntyre, CBS2 Meteorologist/Weather Producer

Good mornin', everyone! Gonna be a hot & muggy day today, and there is a chance for a few isolated showers far north/west of NYC in the PM. Lookin' good at the beaches - just be aware of a moderate risk for rip currents. Despite more clouds today, it won't be too bad overall!

The week ahead will be quite warm and humid with any sort of "relief" not until the weekend after a cold front moves through Friday. Expect upper 80s and a few 90s each day.

Enjoy the heat, folks!
