8/29 CBS2 Saturday Evening Weather Headlines

By Mark McIntyre
CBS2 Meteorologist/Weather Producer

Wow! What a terrific day it's been across the Tri-State area! Plenty of sunshine along with warm temps & low humidity made for a super Saturday! Expect mostly clear skies overnight with mild temps down to 70 in the City, low 60s elsewhere.

We'll finish the weekend on a slightly warmer and more humid note...and there is a chance for a few isolated showers far north/west of NYC in the PM. Nothing serious though - so don't cancel any plans. Tomorrow will also have a bit more clouds but overall it won't be too bad!

Starting off the new work week, we'll really be feelin' the heat & humidity...and it appears that we could get our second official heat wave of the season with at least three days around the 90 degree mark. We'll keep an eye on that for you...but one thing is for sure - summer heat will march on into September.

Have a great night!
