8/24 CBS2 Monday Afternoon Weather Headlines

By Justin Lewis

It should stay generally quiet this afternoon, but we can't rule out a stray thunderstorm well to our N&W late in the day. In the city, expect warm and humid conditions with highs similar to that of yesterday in the mid 80s.

We'll see a better chance of showers into tonight as our cold front nears. It will still be on the humid side with a low in the low 70s.

There will be a leftover chance of showers into tomorrow (mainly during the morning) with chances decreasing from west to east as our next cold front slowly slides through. It will still be on the warm side with highs in the mid 80s.

Wednesday's looking like a nice one with less humid conditions and mostly sunny skies. And as for Thursday, we're still in good shape with slightly cooler conditions and highs around normal.

Check back for updates.
