8/1 CBS2 Saturday Morning Weather Headlines

By Giorgio Panetta
CBS2 Chief Meteorologist/Weather Producer

Good morning everyone!

It's going to be a pleasant weekend across the Tri-State. The only "blip" on the radar would be a few showers tomorrow in the afternoon as some low pressure slides east from a larger low in Canada.

Today's high: 88-92°.

Tonight will be mild & pleasant with lows in the 70s.

Sunday is simply spectacular. Lower humidity, ample sun and a light westerly breeze. Highs: 85-90°.

Monday is even warmer with temps in the lower 90s. We are going to be close to a heat wave over the next four days.

Some will see it in interior New Jersey while NYC and points east will be close. Showers and storms return by the end of the week.

Check back in soon, and enjoy your weekend!
