8/1 CBS2 Saturday Afternoon Weather Headlines

Good Afternoon!

This beautiful weekend will continue across the region. We'll top out around 90 today under mostly sunny skies. There will be a few isolated showers or storms around this afternoon and early this evening, mainly north and west of the city, but by no means anything to cancel outdoor plans over.

Mostly clear skies overnight with lows in the upper 60s and low 70s. It'll feel quite comfortable as the dew points stay on the low side.

Tomorrow will see even more sunshine, with highs once again in the upper 80s to around 90. We'll get a nice breeze out of the west that will continue to keep those humidity levels down.

Monday is the day we bump up the humidity again, so it'll be feeling more sticky than this weekend. Mostly sunny skies continue, with a steamy high in the low 90s. The good news is the muggy feel will be short lived, as dew points drop again for the midweek. Next chance for a period of showers and storms looks like Thursday into Friday.

Check back in soon for the latest!
