7/7 CBS2 Tuesday Evening Weather Headlines

By Victoria Cavaliere

Good Evening All,

Today we had a true summer day: hot, humid and stormy. We hit a high of 88° in Central Park but with dewpoints in the 70s it felt like the 90s throughout the area. This evening the chance for some showers and pop up thunderstorms remains with a low of 71°.

Tomorrow the heat stays with a high of 89° and high humidity. A cold front will also make its way through our area on Wednesday so the chance for some more thunderstorms accompanied by potentially heavy rain at times is possible, with the best bet at night.

Thursday still looks a little unsettled, with thunderstorms possible and temperatures a little cooler at 81°. But don't worry things start to clear by Friday with a high of 85° and the weekend is looking warm and sunny.

That's all I have for now, be sure to check back soon for more weather updates.
