7/4 CBS2 Saturday Evening Weather Headlines

Happy Independence Day! The light rain we saw move through earlier today is out of here, some sunshine returned to end the day, and it's really looking good for the fireworks tonight. Temps right around the 70 mark in NYC for show time under party cloudy skies!

A fantastic day ahead tomorrow to end the holiday weekend! Mostly sunny skies with just a few passing clouds and much warmer, with highs generally in the mid 80s.

That trend continues right into Monday, with once again lots of sunshine and temps in the mid 80s. You'll want to enjoy the next 2 days, as a thunderstorm chance returns to the picture for Tuesday. This kicks off a few days of unsettled weather, with some showers and storms around through Thursday. Warm though, with temps in the mid 80s.

Have a great night, and Happy Fourth of July!
