7/30 CBS2 Saturday Afternoon Weather Headlines

By Matt DeLucia

Good afternoon! It's not going to be a washout weekend, but it'll certainly be unsettled. While temps are much lower than what we saw earlier this week, the humidity is high. Scattered showers and storms will make there way into the area this afternoon, mainly west of the city. If you're north and east, or along the Jersey shore, you should stay dry with just increasing cloud cover and an isolated chance. Highs will top out in the low to mid 80s.

Tomorrow looks like the wetter day, especially in the morning. More widespread showers and storms will move through for everyone, and some could bring heavy downpours. Some localized flooding is possible in poor drainage areas. Temps Sunday will struggle to get much above 80 with the cloud cover, but it'll still be muggy out there.

Monday looks partly to mostly cloudy with some scattered showers and storms once again moving through. Then we finally start to clear out! Expect partly cloudy skies for Tuesday with just a very stray storm chance, kicking off what looks to be a very nice stretch for the rest of the week.

Have a great weekend!
