7/3 CBS2 Friday Morning Weather Headlines

Good Morning All,

Temperatures a little cooler today in the upper 60s as you wake up with partly cloudy skies. As you go through the day the clouds break a little with a high of 80° and winds from the NE.

Overnight into Saturday morning clouds do creep back in due to a low to our South but models are predicting that the rain will stay away from most New York and New Jersey beach destinations, although that doesn't rule out the chance for a spotty shower later in the afternoon. But the fireworks forecast remains suitable with moderate cloud coverage and temperatures in the low 70s/upper 60s.

Sunday, however, takes the cake with sunny skies and temperatures in the mid-80s, setting us up for what looks like a great week ahead.
