7/28 CBS2 Tuesday Evening Weather

Good Evening All,

It's official- today was the hottest day of the year! We hit a high of 95 degrees in Central Park and while that is definitely quite a temperature, it didn't feel much hotter than that due to a low dew point.

Tomorrow though, the humidity amps up and our projected high of 95 degrees is going to feel like the upper 90s and even triple digits in some places! But don't expect the heat to end anytime soon. High pressure continues to build and the trough in the area only serves to keep things sticky Thursday with a high of 92 degrees.

So will the heat stick around for the weekend and could we have our first week long heat wave in two years? Check back soon to find out!
