7/25 CBS2 Saturday Evening Weather

By Mark McIntyre, CBS2 Meteorologist/Weather Producer

What a fantastic Saturday it's been across the area! We'll have partly clear & very mild conditions overnight with temps bottoming out at 71 in the City, 60s elsewhere. Some stray showers/rumbles are possible overnight but those should stay well to the north & west of NYC.

Sunday will be another very warm day with partly sunny skies and highs in the upper 80s...along with slightly higher humidity and a chance for scattered thunderstorms. Not looking like an all-day washout, but a few storms could be strong with gusty winds and locally heavy rain - so just be mindful of that. Otherwise tomorrow's not looking too bad aside from the storm chance.

Monday will feature another chance for thunderstorms along with temps in the mid 80s. Again, a few storms could be strong. After that, the summer furnace gets turned back on as we should get at least two days at/above 90 degrees - along with higher humidity! Looks like we'll cool back down in time for next weekend.

Check back in soon for the latest, and have a great night!
